Otherwise, you run the risk of suffering an emotional blow should he decide to change his mind and stay with the other woman. If you explain to him that you really want to be with him but only when he's free to do so, he may get angry but only because you're forcing his hand. If he doesn't commit to just you, then you have your answer - he's not ready to do so. If he does, then you've now established a mutual agreement that the two of you will focus on each other exclusively. Don't take second best.
